Owner and Chief Pit Master Rod Hamlet, a sixth generation Floridian, first started cooking for the family gatherings 20 years ago. Since then, neighbors, co-workers and their families asked Rod to BBQ for their special celebrations like birthdays, holidays, parties and weddings. So began years of high quality, good tastin', finger lickin' Southern style barbecue and grilling. 

As a tribute to the quality meats coming off his fantastic Holstein cooker, Rod would like to thank Bill Walls of the world renowned competitive BBQ team Billy Bones. Rod thanks Bill for taking him under his wing and teaching him some of his most coveted tricks. Now he's passing it along to you, the consumer.
